What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at WSI Standard?
Take on an exciting Business Analyst role where you’ll help support and improve critical business systems, including JD Edwards ERP, RFgen, BarTender, TAI, and Kiosk. You’ll partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance functionality, and strengthen daily operations. We’re looking for a collaborative problem-solver with application support experience and knowledge of WMS, OMS, EDI, and system integrations. This salaried role reports to the Manager of IT and offers a hybrid schedule, with at least three days per week based in Appleton, Wisconsin, or another company location. Relocation assistance is not available.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Improve processes and platforms for Warehousing and Logistics
- Serve as the escalation point for E1, RFgen, BarTender, TAI, AutoSig, and Kiosk
- Support WMS, OMS, EDI, and integration applications
- Troubleshoot system issues and partner with developers on fixes
- Collaborate with IT and business teams on improvements
- Coordinate Tools and Application Release upgrades
- Manage upgrade preparation activities
- Manage application server patching, including Java updates
- Review Rapid7 vulnerability results and prioritize remediation
- Coordinate monthly tasks with Trillium
- Monitor system performance and address issues proactively
- Maintain documentation for key systems and processes
- Train and support end users
- Serve as a liaison between users, business partners, and technical teams
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehouse, and inventory management
- Willingness to expand skillsets through continuous education
- 3 years of customer-facing experience
- 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel in a car and an airplane 15% of the time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods within an office environment.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
- Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.
