Job Overview

WSG Energy Services, a leader in the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Superintendent to oversee fabrication operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of construction, maintenance, and repair projects. The successful candidate will manage crews, coordinate with project stakeholders, and uphold strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all fabrication operations.
• Manage a team of skilled workers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement work schedules, resource plans, and safety protocols in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Monitoring progress, identify risks, and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific regulations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance repairs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on project status, workforce productivity, and safety incidents to project manager.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to secure consumable, materials, and equipment as needed.
• Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all personnel are trained and adhere to company and industry safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in oil and gas construction and/or maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in fabrication operations.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication production, equipment, and processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI) and federal/state regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, PMP, or NACE are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work within an industrial fabrication environment, including exposure to fluctuating temperatures, high-noise areas, and extended periods of standing or walking on the shop floor.
