Position Summary
The PM Server at Marcy Restaurant provides attentive and efficient service to guests during dinner service, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional hospitality in an upscale yet approachable environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and creating a memorable dining experience that reflects the Grand Adirondack’s commitment to quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and warmly; present menus and specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team
Serve menu items to guests while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
Suggest wine, cocktails, and upsell menu items where appropriate
Refill beverages, clear and reset tables, and maintain a clean, organized dining space
Process guest checks, handle payments, and close out shifts accurately
Support teammates and assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
Follow all safety, sanitation, and brand service protocols
Qualifications
Prior serving experience in dinner or fine dining preferred
Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail service a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
