What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inclusion II Instructional Assistant position at Wright Elementary School District?
We are a small, diverse, public elementary school in southwest Santa Rosa, California.
We are seeking candidates for an Inclusion II Instructional Assistant (Also known as: Special Education Student Assistant or Paraprofessional or Paraeducator) position .
Pay is for 6 hours per day; 30 hours per week. Shift is 6.5 hours per day, roughly 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes one 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break.
Inclusion II Instructional Assistants help students with social, behavior, and academic needs, help meet student I.E.P. guidelines, and may assist with toileting. See job description for full details.
Requirements:
- AA degree, 48 units college or more, or student aide proficiency certification (available through the district by examination of basic skills in math and english)
- POPP medical clearance (paid for by district)
- Fingerprint clearance - DOJ and FBI (paid for by district)'
- CPR/1st Aide Training
- Mandated Trainings
