Wright is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer I with 10 years of experience to be part of a growing R&D team. This is a hands-on position to rapidly prototype power electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications. Requirements for this position include:
Required:
- Minimum 10 years of professional electrical engineering experience is required
- Experience with prototype and product development
- Experience with supporting testing and test-plan development
- Experience with identifying and sourcing components to realize a design
- Ability to work with and engage team members across departments
- Strong mentoring abilities
- Capable of owning tasks from beginning to end
- Experience with power electronics systems
Desired
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Experience with motors and drives
- Experience with generators and micro-grids
- Experience with embedded firmware development
- Experience with MBSE using Matlab Simulink (Simscape Electrical, Embedded Coder, etc,)
Location:
Malta, NY. On-site presence is required.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
