Wright is looking for an Electrical Engineer I with 2 years of experience to be part of a growing R&D team. This is a hands-on position to rapidly prototype power electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications. Requirements for this position include:
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience is required
- Experience with prototype and product development
- Experience with supporting testing and test-plan development
- Experience with identifying and sourcing components to realize a design
- Ability to work with and engage team members across departments
- Capable of owning tasks from beginning to end
Desired
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Experience with motors, drives, and power electronics
- Experience with aircraft and aerospace systems
- Experience with generators and micro-grids
- Experience with embedded firmware development
- Experience with Matlab & Simulink (Simscape Electrical, Embedded Coder, etc.)
- Experience with CANBUS development

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
