Accounts Receivable and Credit Specialist

In this position, you will be responsible for managing customer credit and collections involving risk analysis and control through a variety of daily tasks and activities. This role involves building strong, collaborative relationships with customers and sales while supporting company objectives and ensuring full compliance with established credit policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements to assess risk levels and determine credit worthiness
• Initiate collection efforts for past‑due accounts through calls, emails, and formal notices
• Monitor industry trends, economic shifts, and regulatory updates that may influence credit risk
• Maintain detailed records of payment arrangements; resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes
• Review incoming orders daily to evaluate credit status and authorize booking and shipment release

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience reviewing and analyzing financial statements, trade references, bank references, and Dun & Bradstreet reports
• At least 1 year of experience in collections and accounts receivable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, consistently prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver high‑quality work
• Strong proficiency in Oracle and Excel, including required experience with XLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
