Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and just being cool people.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support team members with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to handle food safely, follow sanitation procedures, and maintain a clean work environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, serving, or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning
