Summary
The Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for the daily inventory management of all tools, parts, and materials pertaining to the install, repair and construction activities within the region including inventory control, shipping, handling, receiving, delivery of materials and inventory database management for the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
I nclude but are not limited to the following:
Overall responsibility to manage shipping, receiving and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of the region
Performs quarterly and annual audits of inventory items
Supervises and leads multi market warehouse technicians including hiring, training , development, coaching, discipline and performance reviews
Ensures accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused and dispersed across the multi market area of responsibility
Projects advance inventory requirements in conjunction with construction managers.
Provides forecasts to ensure sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and highest possible inventory turns.
Maintains open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience required
Five years warehouse or telecommunications experience , with prior lead or supervisor experience preferred
Skills and Abilities to be Successful in this Role
High comfort level in dealing with senior to middle management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with absolute precision and clarity
Ability to negotiate effectively and have a practical approach to implementation
Ability to work autonomously and initiate/prioritize own work
Experience facilitating , gathering, and documenting business requirements
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint
Experience with d atabase and inventory software
