Shift(s):
Monday – Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm
Pay:
Base rate of $22.00/hour, Plus performance incentive programs let you take control of your earning potential!
How Your Role Fits In
As the Operations Trainer you will be responsible for the training of warehouse staff primarily at the Appleton distribution center. This position will focus on new hire training, training on all material handling equipment and attachments. The Trainer will ensure employees are trained to comply with all Company safety expectations and policies. When training is not needed, this position will support normal warehouse worker duties.
What you’ll do:
- Training of all required safety topics (PPE, LOTO, Fire Prevention, Hazard Communication, etc.)
- 40 hours of MHE training for new employees, to include classroom and hands-on instruction.
- Trainer will also be responsible for process related training on warehouse tasks.
- Document training records via the WOW Intranet and SharePoint.
- Assist DCM with BBS Observations as well as Safety and Training audits.
- Show a positive attitude and genuine interest in developing and mentoring new employees and ensuring their success
- Post-accident follow-up additional MHE training as needed
- Annual MHE Evaluations
- 3-year MHE Re-certifications
What it takes to succeed:
- Must have 2 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Must have 2 prior training or leadership experience
- Must have a positive attitude, provide real-time feedback, develop solutions to problems, handles themselves in a professional manner
- Must have good language, reading, computer (Excel, Word, Outlook) and communication skills
- Ability to safely operate all types of material handling equipment and assorted attachments
- Accident free for the past 6 months while operating MHE is recommended
- Ability to adapt to other shifts as necessary
- Ability to travel as needed to other WOW locations to conduct new employee MHE training
- Must have MHE certifications and current/valid driver’s license
