Overview
Join our dynamic sports performance team as a Volleyball Plyometric and Strength Coach, where your expertise will elevate athletes’ explosive power, agility, and overall athleticism. In this energetic role, you will implement specialized training programs focused on plyometric exercises and strength development tailored specifically for our high school volleyball players.
Responsibilities
- Assist with engaging training sessions that incorporate dynamic exercises such as jumping drills, explosive movements, and resistance training tailored to individual athlete needs
- Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and adjust training plans accordingly to optimize performance gains
- Educate athletes on proper technique, injury prevention, and recovery strategies to ensure safe and effective training outcome.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing proper equipment use, behavior management, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Availability Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 4P to 830P, Saturday and alternating Sundays 12-4. More hours are available.
- Background in volleyball or related sports is a plus!
- Experience working with youth or student-athletes in a gym or athletic setting is a plus!
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and foster a positive learning environment for athletes of all ages
