We’re looking for a Head Chef to join our team at Worthy Brewing Co. and take a leadership
role in shaping the direction of our kitchen.
This position is ideal for a chef who is just as strong in team leadership, systems, and cost
management as they are in the food itself. You’ll be responsible for building a consistent,
high-performing kitchen while supporting both daily service and a growing private events
program.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has led a kitchen team and knows how to build culture and accountability
- Understands food costing, labor management, and profitability
- Can develop menus that balance creativity with execution
- Is comfortable working with vendors and sourcing product

What You’ll Do
- Lead, manage, and develop a diverse kitchen team, setting clear expectations and
holding standards
- Build a culture of accountability, consistency, and professionalism in a fast-paced
environment
- Oversee menu development with a focus on execution, profitability, and alignment with
our brand
- Manage food and labor costs, including recipe costing, portioning, and waste control
- Source and negotiate with vendors to improve product quality and pricing
- Create systems and SOPs that ensure consistency across all shifts
- Collaborate with front of house and events teams to support a cohesive guest
experience
- Oversee kitchen operations for both daily service and private events
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage different personalities and build team
buy-in
- Demonstrated experience with food costing, budgeting, and P&L management
- Experience sourcing products and managing vendor relationships
- Ability to balance creativity with consistency and operational execution
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and holds high standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Requirements
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- OLCC certification (or ability to obtain)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods
- Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary starting at $70,000 , depending on experience
