Job Description
Worthington Steel is hiring motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team at our Columbus, Ohio facility. Seeking individuals with flexibility to work any of our 3 shifts. $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate or support manufacturing production lines
Package, band, and label finished materials
Set up and assist with machine operations
Weigh and prepare materials for processing
Use forklift and/or overhead crane to move materials
Follow safety protocols and quality standards at all times
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy materials safely
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Forklift or crane experience preferred but not required
Shift Details:
Training starts on 1st shift.
Fixed 8-hour shifts with paid lunch
No rotating shifts
Required to work 2 to 3 Saturdays per month
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay: $20.00 per hour or more, based on experience and skills
$1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
$1,500 sign-on bonus
Quarterly profit-sharing opportunity (average $6,000 to $10,000 per year)
Attendance bonuses up to $1,250 annually
Overtime paid at time and a half; double time after 48 hours per week
$180 annual safety boot allowance
