We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our afternoon shift team, 3PM-11PM. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping materials moving efficiently through our facility by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth production flow.

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our afternoon shift team, 3PM-11PM. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping materials moving efficiently through our facility by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and communicate with carriers for inbound and outbound freight
- Receive, unload, and accurately store materials into inventory
- Stage materials and machines for work‑in‑process and ensure accurate system transactions
- Prepare outbound shipments and load trucks to meet delivery schedules
- Generate and process shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading and export documentation
- Ensure proper receipt of coils and materials into the computer system
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with internal departments
- Issue tools and production components and maintain required logbooks
- Train and support other Shipping & Receiving team members
- Follow all safety procedures and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with inventory control and material handling preferred
- Forklift and Overhead Crane experience required (certification a plus)
- Working knowledge of PC applications and Windows operating systems (Oracle experience helpful but trainable)
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and system transactions
- Ability to collaborate across departments such as production, purchasing, and maintenance
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Dependable transportation to the facility door entrance is required. Public transportation and/or walking are not options due to safety regulations.
- Competitive pay starting at $20/hour plus $1.50 shift differential
