What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Worthington Enterprises?
Worthington Enterprises is excited to be hiring a Painter. This individual is responsible for preparing the product per instructions and operating various painting equipment and methods. The Painter also inspects material for any runs, sags or unpainted areas and retouches as required per specifications. The role will perform required maintenance on paint equipment as needed. This is a 1st shift opportunity and is generally 8-10 hours per day, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to paint with airless sprayer
- Paint with pressure pot
- Set up equipment in paint booths
- Prepares product prior to paint application.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine and paint guns as needed to maintain good quality and production
- Safely operate a forklift
- Checks all parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replace as needed
- Daily use of hand tools
- Handles paint, paint related materials and hazardous wastes properly
Desired Experience
- Working knowledge of airless spray systems
- Possess troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to read and understand bill of material
- Internal training per standard operating procedures and training sheet
- Ability to paint both standing and squatting throughout the day
