Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Painter, where your expertise will bring precision, durability, and quality to a variety of industrial components and structures. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of products using HVLP spray equipment. This role includes surface preparation, mixing paints and hardeners, maintaining equipment, and ensuring products meet established quality standards. The Painter I follows detailed instructions and procedures, operates under close supervision, and exercises limited independent judgment in day-to-day activities. Reports directly to a supervisor or manager.

Duties
Prepare surfaces by applying liquid etching solutions and ensuring the removal of sharp edges left from prior grinding.
· Mix paints and hardeners to specified ratios based on current humidity levels.
· Fill and maintain pressure pots with proper paint or chemical mixtures.
· Apply coatings to metal parts using HVLP spray guns, adjusting nozzles for optimal spray patterns and coverage.
· Monitor paint flow and viscosity, making adjustments as needed.
· Inspect painted parts for surface defects such as flaws, bubbles, or other imperfections.
· Perform occasional rework using Bondo, including sanding, grinding, taping, and masking.
· Paint machines and individual parts according to production schedules and specifications.
· Conduct routine adhesion and quality tests to verify coating integrity.
· Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, and related equipment after each use.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED.
· 1–5 years of relevant painting experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
· Basic proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
· Familiarity with basic office equipment (e.g., telephone, copier, computer).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
