Prefabrication Assembler performs the assembly of pipe hangers, supports, and other prefabricated components in line with project requirements. The role involves preparing materials, including painting and organizing parts, while ensuring that the workspace remains orderly and efficient. Responsibilities also include supporting production through careful workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and effective teamwork.
2nd Shift: 12PM-10:30PM (Monday-Thursday)
Responsibilities:
- Assemble pipe hangers, stands, as well as other various prefabricated assemblies
- Paint pipes, pipe racks, stands, etc.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Receive and organize various materials
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- All other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of braising and soldering techniques (preferred)
- Dexterity: Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for 90% of the day
- Ability to work with ongoing exposure to loud noise
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Sound judgment and critical thinking
