Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist for a contract opportunity in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. The technologist will provide CT and diagnostic radiography services in a clinical setting while maintaining high standards of patient care, image quality, and radiation safety.
This position requires strong proficiency with Toshiba CT equipment and experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations.
Compensation:
- $50–$55/hour
- Up to $1,246/week tax-free stipend for eligible travelers
- Up to approximately $3,446/week based on 40 hours at the top of the range
- Overtime up to $82.50/hour
- Weekly pay
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating 8–12 hour shifts
- Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Occasional on-call may be required
Duties
- Perform CT and diagnostic radiographic examinations
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with facility protocols
- Properly position and prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Follow established radiation safety practices and infection-control procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of examinations performed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Participate in departmental training as needed
Qualifications
- ARRT Radiography — R.T.(R)(ARRT)
- Previous CT and diagnostic X-ray experience
- Strong proficiency with Toshiba CT equipment required
- ARRT Computed Tomography certification preferred
- Current BLS
- Current annual radiation-safety training
- Ability to successfully complete required federal credentialing, background screening, fingerprinting, and employee health clearance
