Here’s how you’ll help shape underwriting outcomes that support our people, partners and customers around the world:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead underwriting operations across Corporate and Student product segments.
- Design and evolve underwriting workflows, policies and procedures.
- Ensure service timelines, accuracy and financial performance.
Data, Pricing & Risk Management
- Own underwriting pricing models and tools.
- Analyze claims data and risk drivers.
- Support plan design and cost containment strategies.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as Underwriting representative on enterprise initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Client Management.
- Work with Blue Cross entities on audits and data requests.
People & Culture
- Build, coach and develop underwriting talent.
- Support performance, learning and employee engagement.
- Ensure training and underwriting standards are met.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor productivity and quality metrics.
- Reduce key-person dependencies.
- Champion data-driven process improvement.

- You bring 10 years of senior-level group health underwriting experience with 5 years of people management experience.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

- You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
