Who we are.

By combining digital innovation with human-centered care, we go above and beyond for our customers and deliver an international healthcare experience that’s simple, efficient, and human.

What we’re looking for in our Director – Total Rewards & HR Operations
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you are an experienced people leader who understands how thoughtful rewards and modern systems shape the employee experience. You bring both strategic vision and hands-on execution, and you’re energized by designing total rewards and HR operations programs that are efficient, people-friendly, and challenge the ways HR traditionally works.
You lead confidently at the intersection of compensation, benefits, wellness and HR technology. Partnering closely with business leaders and our People team, you translate business priorities into fair, competitive and compliant rewards programs and digital solutions that support employees across the lifecycle.
Your “superpower?” Seeing the big picture while diving into the details. You lead with an equity‑centered, merit‑based mindset and thrive in dynamic environments where continuous improvement is expected. You’re equally comfortable architecting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to make it real.
You’re excited to partner closely with our People Effectiveness and People Experience leaders to align total rewards, wellness, and development with organizational goals through scalable, personalized programs that are people‑centric and technology‑enabled. Above all, you understand that employees are the primary customers of the People function, and you’re driven to deliver a best‑in‑class people experience that enables teams to do their best work and deliver exceptional service to the customers we serve.
Here’s how you’ll help shape how we support and reward our people:
Total Rewards Strategy and Governance
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of total rewards programs including compensation structures, salary benchmarking, benefits packages, recognition programs, and pay equity practices. Ensure programs remain competitive, cost-effective, equitable, and aligned with the needs of a multi-state workforce while conducting market analyses to inform pay positioning and structure design.
Compensation Management
Develop and optimize comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with business objectives, conduct salary benchmarking and market pricing analyses to ensure competitive positioning. Design salary structures, evaluate job roles, recommend appropriate salary bands, and provide guidance on complex pay decisions while managing annual compensation processes and ensuring internal equity and meritorious rewards.
Benefits and Wellness Administration
Oversee full benefits administration including plan design, vendor selection, and employee education initiatives for health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and time off. Manage vendor relationships and negotiations, oversee benefits enrollment processes, and serve as primary escalation point for employee benefits situations while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
HR Systems and Digital Transformation
Manage HRIS operations that support the employee lifecycle, implementing automated workflows for recruiting, onboarding, performance and compensation management, and payroll. Lead technology integration projects to replace manual, paper-based processes with data-driven, automated systems that enhance efficiency and employee experience. Deploy people analytics dashboards and predictive models to transform HR from reactive to proactive decision-making. Work with teams across the organization to adopt AI usage and governance in their work.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure total rewards programs comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations across a multi-state workforce. Conduct audits and reviews of programs to maintain compliance, manage labor law requirements, and ensure governance standards are met while maintaining data security and privacy.
Strategic Communication and Leadership
Working in unison with the Director – Communications & Employee Experience to develop materials for total rewards programs and deliver presentations to employees and leadership. Translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership, and mentor team members to foster strong technical expertise and business acumen. Serve as the strategic advisor and resources for management training and employee related supervisory training.
