- Assist in creating and implementing merchandise assortment for the men’s premium apparel category, based on selling trends that will achieve financial targets
- Participate in open-to-buy (OTB) meetings with Planning to ensure the department achieves financial targets for sales, profitability, and inventory turn
- Research the competition across all social media platforms and markets to identify emerging trends, categories, and promotional campaigns
- Promote growth by developing assortment strategies with SKU count, breadth vs depth, newness, and pricing/margin
- Analyze sales in-season and post-season to identify hits and misses
- Leverage insights to revise in-season and future season actions, strategies, and assortments
- Review weekly sales performance to identify potential reorders and recommend styles for markdowns
- 5 years of buying experience in apparel is required, with men’s premium men’s apparel experience being preferred, but not required
- Ecommerce experience in this realm is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Production, Design or related field is preferred but not required
- Experience negotiating product quality, costs, and delivery dates with vendors
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, project management, and organization skillset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Ability to work a full-time schedule onsite, M-F is required
- The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
