Position Overview:
The IT Site Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring seamless IT operations at WorldSprings Dallas. This individual will be responsible for addressing a wide range of technical challenges, from network issues to hardware and software support. Acting as the first point of contact, they will swiftly and efficiently address IT concerns to ensure minimal disruption. With the company poised for rapid growth, we seek an individual who is eager to grow, dedicated, and places a high emphasis on customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoot company IT issues throughout the complex and internal offices that will include hardware, software, sound, domains, and other IT concerns.
- Develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with WorldSprings business goals.
- Foster collaborative relationships with other departments and teams.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
- Ensure network security and data integrity by implementing robust security measures.
- Manage the acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including licenses and updates.
- Monitor technology trends and evaluate new products and solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users.
- Installation or delegation of computer or POS installation or relocation.
- Learn and maintain basic knowledge of the custom POS software to provide initial support to end-users.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and practices to protect data and systems.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations and infrastructure expansions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, protocols, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on IT performance, project status and security assessments.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- Several years in senior IT role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network administration, and cyber security.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory management.
- Certifications like PMP, ITlL or CISSP can be advantages.
- Flexibility to adapt to emerging technologies and industry.
