Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for directing and implementing sales activities for a team of sale representatives in the Thermoplastic Elastomers market.You will use your experience and knowledge to lead your team to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned sales staff and assist with skills development, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
- Track KPI’s and forecast gaps and implement countermeasures to maintain sales and meet goals.
- Act as a resource to sales staff in sales contract opportunities and proposals.
- Assist sales staff with pricing, closing the sales and developing sales plans for accounts.
- Manage a team sales budget of $30 to $0 million across North America.
- Attend trade shows.
- Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings.
- Maintain current knowledge of products.
- Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods to capture and retain customers.
- Answer questions from customers and resolves complaints.
- Recruit sales and customer service coordinators; implement sales orientation and training programs.
Requirements
- B.S. in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering . M.B.A. preferred.
- 5-10 years of industry sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in selling TPE’s (SBC and TPV) into a variety of markets.
- Sales forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Contract and sales proposal writing experience.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics and commercial excellence frameworks.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of sales associates.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
