Worldwide Technology is looking for a Technical Project Manager. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. Location: Philadelphia Hybrid 4 in office / 1 remote

Note: They do not need to be experts in any of these work streams. They prefer someone that has a SW Dev background that has transitioned into the Technical PM Function.
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60 to $75 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multiple technical workstreams within a larger program, particularly in an agile environment. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively coordinate and drive various technical initiatives to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee 7-8 different technical workstreams simultaneously, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Workstreams include:
- Architecture
- API Gateway
- VOIP / Media SIP signing
- UI/UX
- PSTM
- Operations Observability
- Operations General support
- Network Infrastructure
- QA
- Privacy & Legal
- Note: They do not need to be experts in any of these work streams. They prefer someone that has a SW Dev background that has transitioned into the Technical PM Function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of project components.
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, and Gantt Charts to track progress and communicate updates.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across different workstreams, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
- Provide regular updates, status reports, and risk assessments to leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members across different time zones.
- Hold team members accountable for deliverables and timelines, ensuring high performance and quality outcomes.
- Drive decision-making processes by asking pertinent questions and facilitating discussions among stakeholders.
- Visualize and articulate the project plan, driving it upwards to align with organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Background:
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience leading multiple technical workstreams in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, and Gantt Charts.
- Ability to manage teams across different time zones effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address risks proactively.
This role may require on-location work with WWT customers. Some customers may require WWT employees and contractors coming on-site to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or to receive frequent negative COVID-19 testing.
