Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Digital Print Operator to join our dedicated manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-format digital printers and related equipment to produce high-quality signage products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, a keen eye for quality, and a comprehensive understanding of print production processes. Duties

• Operate large-format digital printers and associated industrial equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure accurate reproduction.
• Interpret production documents, layouts, and specifications accurately for each project.
• Perform routine mechanical adjustments and maintenance on printing machinery to optimize performance.
• Execute prepress tasks using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other prepress software tools.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to maintain high standards.
• Assist with cutting, paper binding, and finishing operations such as mounting or lamination.
• Support screen printing processes when required, ensuring proper setup and execution.
• Interpret layout designs for print advertising, signage, or promotional materials.
• Collaborate with design teams on layout design, typography, and color consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with large-format printers and digital printing technology.
• Strong knowledge of color management techniques and print quality control.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Mechanical aptitude for machine operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with prepress processes and software used in preparing files (RIP) for printing.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows related to signage production.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and production documents accurately.
• Knowledge of screen printing techniques and flexo press operations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members across departments.
