World Tech Toys, a leading toy manufacturer with an extensive catalog of children’s products, is seeking a skilled and creative Product Photographer to refresh and maintain our entire product photography library. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in Glendale, CA, focused on capturing high-quality images that drive e-commerce, packaging, and marketing success.
This role requires someone with a strong eye for composition, deep expertise in lighting and editing, and proficiency in Shopify for managing and uploading product content. Key Responsibilities:
- Photograph and edit sharp, polished product photos for packaging, e-commerce, and marketing materials
- Execute clean, consistent lighting and setups in-studio (or on-location if needed)
- Perform advanced editing in Adobe Photoshop: background removal, color correction, lighting adjustments, and retouching
- Upload and manage product listings in Shopify, including descriptions, tags, images, and pricing
- Maintain brand consistency across all product visuals
- Collaborate with the marketing team to meet campaign and product launch timelines
- Prepare image assets for use across web, social media, catalogs, and other platforms
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in professional product photography (consumer goods or toys preferred)
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and industry-standard photography/editing tools
- Demonstrated experience photographing physical products with strong lighting and composition
- Familiarity with e-commerce image standards and optimization
- Proficiency in Shopify: uploading, organizing, and maintaining product listings
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality product photography
- Must be local to Glendale, CA, and available to work on-site regularly
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of toy industry trends and visual merchandising
- Experience preparing photography for packaging and printed materials
- Basic video or motion graphic skills for product demos or web use
