We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist (Team Lead) to oversee our receivables process and help develop strategies to optimize collections from outstanding accounts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hollywood, Florida.
You’ll manage day-to-day AR operations while mentoring a small team, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. We’re looking for someone who can balance analytical thinking with leadership — someone who can dive into the numbers, streamline processes, and build an efficient, proactive collections strategy.
Job Description
- Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team in daily operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances
- Oversee customer communications related to billing, payments, and collections
- Analyze AR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and operations to align on account status and resolutions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or finance operations (leadership experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
