Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing
- Serve food and beverages professionally, including drink service and spirits experience, ensuring proper presentation and guest enjoyment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively
- Experience in fine dining environments or with wine knowledge enhances your suitability for this role
- Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation is a plus
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
