The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bar Back to support the beverage team at Genievieve’s; our elegant Italian dining concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives behind the scenes, ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
As a Bar Back, you will assist bartenders by restocking supplies, maintaining the bar’s appearance, and ensuring timely support during service. Your contributions will help deliver a seamless guest experience that reflects the World Equestrian Center’s core values of Quality, Class, and Distinction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support bartenders by restocking glassware, garnishes, mixers, and spirits throughout service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, sinks, shelves, and storage spaces.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Ensure all bar tools and equipment are clean, functional, and properly stored.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with ice replenishment and beverage preparation as directed.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all bar-related areas.
- Maintain a professional appearance and discreet presence during service.
- Support special events, private dining, and holiday celebrations as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a bar support or hospitality role preferred.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the bar team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with bar tools, glassware, and beverage service standards.
- ServSafe and Alcohol Compliance Certifications preferred.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
