Responsibilities
We are a gymnastics center that offers classes for children of all abilities, in our IMPACT class structure. We are looking for an instructor who can lead a group of volunteers, parents, and students in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. You will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing lesson plans that incorporate basic gymnastics skills and equipment
- Motivating and improving the performance of students within the IMPACT program
- Ensuring the safety and maintenance of the equipment and the gym
- Responding to minor incidents and emergencies
- Communicating with parents and staff about the progress and goals of the students
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A CPR and first aid certification
- A positive, patient, and compassionate attitude
- A flexible schedule that includes weekends
- Not required but preferred
- Experience working with kids
- Certification in Special Education or related field
