We are looking for someone who will take it just as seriously.

Our schedule lives and dies on accurate data from the floor, and the scheduler is the person who turns that data into a plan the shop can actually run.

The Role

You build and maintain the production schedule that keeps jobs moving through the shop on time. You work from open sales orders, work order status, and machine and labor capacity to sequence jobs, release work to the floor, and adjust the plan when priorities shift. You're in NetSuite daily, and you're on the floor daily, because the schedule only works if it matches reality.

Honest truth: the schedule changes every day, and some days it changes every hour. A machine goes down, a customer moves up a due date, material shows up late — and you have to re-sequence the plan and communicate it clearly, without losing your patience or losing track of what's late. If you need a static plan that doesn't move, this is not the right seat.

What You’ll Do

Schedule Building and Maintenance

· Build and update the production schedule from open sales orders and work order status.

· Sequence jobs against machine and labor capacity to hit customer due dates.

· Release work orders to the floor in priority order.

· Adjust the schedule daily as priorities, material, and machine availability change.

Data and System Accuracy

· Keep work order status, quantities, and dates current in NetSuite.

· Flag and correct data errors that would throw off the plan.

· Track past due and at-risk jobs and escalate before they slip further.

Floor Communication

· Walk the floor daily to confirm job status against the system.

· Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to supervisors and operators.

· Coordinate with purchasing and quality on material holds and inspection delays that affect the plan.

Reporting and Follow-Through

· Report past due jobs, schedule risk, and shipment expectations to leadership.

· Follow up on outside service and late-item issues that affect the schedule.

· Support month-end and week-end pushes to close out jobs and hit revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

· 1 years of scheduling, planning, or production control experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Comfortable reading Job Travelers well enough to understand job requirements.

· Working knowledge of an ERP or MRP system (NetSuite experience a plus).

· Strong Excel skills — you can build and read a spreadsheet without help.

· Clear, direct communicator who can hold the line on priorities under pressure.

Nice-to-Haves

· Experience scheduling in a CNC machining or job-shop environment.

· NetSuite experience specifically.

· Background in purchasing, planning, or manufacturing engineering.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
