Requirements
- Sewing / embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
- Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
- The physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Specific vision abilities required of the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
- This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Must follow directions well.
- Ability to work overtime – including work on weekends, when needed.
- Good attendance is a must.
- Check in garments when they arrive.
- Load design onto the machine via computer
- Hoop garment or item while the machine is running, prepping for the next run
- Operate machines while trimming the backing
- Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
- Fix errors if needed on items
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are necessary for this job.
- Maintains a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear, and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.
