REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and other computer programs
- CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers Card (can be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Maintain any current educational licenses
- Maneuver up to 35 pounds
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective training/development skills.
- Background check required, and teacher must be at step 7 with Oregon Central Background Check Registry

JOB DUTIES
- Provide positive feedback and support to classroom staff.
- Establish a well-managed, child-oriented curriculum and learning environment.
- Implement and comply with the program's work plan and policies
- Meets with staff, parents, and appropriate professionals to share curriculum, progress, and needs.
- Assist in planning and conducting classroom meetings and team-building strategies.
- Participate in regular classroom meetings with staff and the classroom supervisor.
- Develops work tasks for the classroom team and volunteers.
- Meet with the appropriate staff, parents, and professionals to share curriculum, progress, and needs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of strategies for building and providing ongoing training for assistant teachers and of volunteers for the program.
- Supervision of children at all times.
- Complete all program documentation as required.
HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
PAY: $21-$26 per hour depending on experience
