What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate - Pick and Pack position at WorkSolved Staffing?
WorkSolved Staffing is hiring for Pick and Pack staff on 1st Shift in the Walker area. These are temp-to-hire positions working for a local warehouse. Opportunities for advancement right from the start, company promotes from within.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pulls parts and product according to job orders.
- Places the parts from the order onto skids according to specifications, using banding, spacers and shrink wrap to secure the order onto the skid.
Qualifications:
- Solid work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to cross train in different operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, up to 80 pounds with assistance
- Ability and willingness to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work alone or with a partner to pull the orders.
- Pay rate: 1st Shift $17.00
- 30-minute lunch and 2 10-minute breaks
- Moderate paced work
- Safety Glasses Required
- Pass Drug Screen
- Currently working scheduled OT.
