Mold Setter – 2nd Shift
- Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Starting Pay: $18–$20 per hour
- Training Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are currently seeking an experienced Mold Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience installing and removing injection molds, strong mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of manufacturing machinery and press operations. A valid forklift license and basic computer skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Safely remove and install injection molds
- Communicate with adjacent mold setters regarding any changes or issues
- Assist with plant and press startup/shutdown procedures
- Coordinate with the production scheduler, foreman, and other mold setters regarding:
- Mold changes
- Production priorities
- Special assignments
- Review setup documentation for special mold instructions prior to setup
- Assist with troubleshooting press alarms and machine issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of mold setting experience preferred
- Experience with injection molding equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of press operations and functions
- Valid Forklift License required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience:
- Placing and removing Plastics injection molding: 3 years (Required)
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
