Fiberglass Shop Technician
- Location: Commodore, PA
- Payrate: $15.00 per hour
- Schedule: Day Shift, Work 4/10 hour days (Monday to Thursday 5am to 3:30pm)
What will you be doing? We are seeking a Fiberglass Shop Technician to assist with the production of fiberglass tanks, vessels, and fabrications in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with hand and power tools.Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Assist with fiberglass fabrication, including cutting, sanding, grinding, laminating, and finishing.
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and supervisor direction.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What are the Job Requirements?
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Works well with others.
- Manufacturing, fiberglass, construction, or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Must pass a drug screen and respirator fit test.
- Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.
