Human Resources Generalist
- Location: Johnstown, PA - Travel to Ebensburg about 2 days a week
- Pay Rate: $27.18 per hour
- Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
What will you be doing?
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of the Human Resources and executive office functions. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks. You will support HR operations while also assisting executives and department leaders with day-to-day administrative needs.
- Assist with the daily operations of the Human Resources Department by supporting and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including documentation, data entry, and record maintenance
- Facilitate HR processes such as onboarding, employee communications, and internal requests
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing employee training and development events
- Serve as a point of contact (POC) for Human Resources–related questions and requests, directing inquiries as appropriate
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR Director, HR Generalist, or President.
What are the Job Requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
- Two years of experience facilitating HR related processes required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- SHRM-C or PHR preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Clearances: Drug Test, Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and FBI Fingerprints
- Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License, Valid Auto Insurance, copy of High School Diploma and College transcript
