What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Admin/Support position at Workline Solutions?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the branch GM, Sales Managers, and Account Consultants as needed and requested.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Account Consultants and Sales Managers with creating and/or editing Quotes, Proposals, Bids
• Maintain Pricing records for assigned Consultants
• Create & maintain customer records
• Respond to both internal and external sales requests in a timely manner either by phone or email
• Prioritize requests based on urgency and or customer
• Develop product knowledge
• Other Special Projects (such as flyers, forms, agendas, etc.) as needed for the Sales Managers and Account Consultants
• Responsible for creating/updating scheduled sales reports as well as ad hoc reporting requests
• Assist with planning meetings and events (on and off site)
• Maintain product literature library
• Develop and maintain relationships with our external vendors
• Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Administrative Roles, preferably in JAN/SAN distribution.
• College Degree preferable
• Phone skills are a must in dealing with internal and external customers
• Intermediate to Advance Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc…
• Supervisory background desired
• Physical Requirements (must be included for all roles). For office/desk based positions:
Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person. For safety sensitive positions, include details on lifting, pushing, pulling, and specific range of weight.
