Job Description
Responsible for all standards of care and practice related to the insertion of peripheral IVs, midline catheters and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC). Monitors all existing central and midline catheters, with exception of tunneled hemodialysis catheters.
Acts as a spokesperson for patient care related to line placement, maintenance and removal and as a subject matter expert to the staff and patients regarding nursing patient care issues related to all lines.

Job Description

Qualifications
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider card
- Current ACLS provider cardEducation:Associates degree in Nursing required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred
- Board certified in Vascular Access preferred/required within one year of hire
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in acute care setting
- Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience Critical Care experience required
