The Bilingual Distribution Center Manager is responsible for the overall success of customer relationships, employee development, customer service, and daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced, multi-client distribution environment. This role oversees receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, value-added services, shipping, reporting, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company policies.

The Manager serves as the primary customer interface, ensuring satisfaction, growth, and retention. This includes full P&L oversight, operational performance monitoring, strategic planning, and driving efficiency across all warehouse functions. The role provides leadership in developing supervisory staff, managing labor, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring productivity and accuracy across fulfillment operations.

Requirements, Experience & Education

  • 10 years in 3PL warehousing, transportation, or supply chain solutions preferred.
  • Proven success managing multi-client warehouse operations with large, long-term accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (for primary version); alternate section lists Associate’s or equivalent experience accepted.
  • Experience working with major retailers; apparel industry a plus.

Key Responsibilities Customer & Operational Leadership

  • Bilingual Spanish /English is required
  • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in warehouse processes, technology, and retail fulfillment.
  • Experience with WMS systems such as Scale, T-Sort, PKMS, Blue Cherry, Extensiv, and Easy Metrix.
  • Strong analytical ability: budgeting, productivity reporting, and labor planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success.
  • Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inspections, inventory control, picking/packing, value-added services, shipping, and returns.
  • Oversee financial performance, including P&L, budget analysis, and productivity monitoring.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that align with customer expectations and company profitability.

People Management

  • Lead, train, coach, and evaluate supervisory staff and warehouse employees.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor planning, and performance management.
  • Conduct team meetings, safety meetings, and ongoing employee development.
  • Manage corrective actions, disciplinary processes, and onboarding.

Fulfillment & Productivity

  • Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment aligned with retail and e-commerce requirements.
  • Monitor productivity metrics, prepare reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee special projects, track progress, and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with customer instructions, company policies, and legal requirements.

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain OSHA compliance and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train staff on safety procedures and enforce operational standards.
