Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Bilingual Assembly Lead to support our manufacturing operations. In this working lead role, you’ll be responsible for guiding and assisting a team of assemblers while also actively participating in daily production tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a background in manufacturing, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and delegating daily production tasks to meet deadlines
- Participate in assembly tasks alongside team members
- Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor team performance
- Provide on-the-job training and support to team members as needed
- Communicate team performance and production metrics to leadership
- Promote teamwork, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department workspace
- Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and company policies
- Identify staffing or process improvement needs and communicate with leadership
- Serve as a liaison between the team and Manufacturing Supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Ability to motivate, train, and lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a factory setting
