Responsibilities of the HVAC Maintenance Technician: • Perform regular maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems, including checking for wear and tear, cleaning, and testing equipment functionality. • Replace or clean filters, lubricate parts, and clean air ducts as needed. • Diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues and perform necessary repairs to keep systems running efficiently. • Ensure that HVAC systems are compliant with local safety codes and regulations. • Record and document all service and maintenance activities, including any parts used and recommendations for future service. • Respond to maintenance calls and provide efficient solutions to any HVAC-related issues. • Advise customers on energy-saving tips and system performance improvements. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. • Communicate effectively with clients, management, and other team members. Requirements for the HVAC Maintenance Technician: • High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC certification or training is a plus). • Proven experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment. • Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
