Executive Director – Senior Living Community

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Executive Director to lead all aspects of an upscale senior living community’s operations including Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. The Executive Director ensures exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, high service quality, and strong financial performance while fostering a positive, collaborative culture for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily community operations, ensuring excellence in resident care, safety, and satisfaction.

• Lead and mentor department managers and staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and successfully manage licensing surveys.

• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure fiscal responsibility.

• Drive community engagement and marketing efforts to achieve high occupancy and resident retention.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.

• Uphold residents’ rights, confidentiality, and a person-centered approach to care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior housing.

• Pennsylvania Personal Care Administrator (PCHA) or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to build and nurture a positive culture for staff and residents.  

• Proven experience managing budgets and financial reports.

• Compassion for seniors and a commitment to high-quality care.

• Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools.

• Ability to meet health, background, and licensing requirements.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

• Full-time position with on-call availability as needed.

• Occasional weekends, travel, and emergency response required.
