Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary
Word Machinery, Inc. is now taking applications for an Inventory Control Specialist. This position supports accurate inventory control and manufacturing shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support inventory control activities, including tracking, organization, and documentation of materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations in a manufacturing setting
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of parts and products
- Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with production, purchasing, and management teams
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Manufacturing shipping/receiving experience and knowledge is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
