Position Summary
WCAC’s Job & Education Center (JEC) offers alternative individualized education pathways for young people outside traditional school environment, with the intention of instilling the values of lifelong learners and providing career pathway exploration, connections to post-secondary and certificate training programs leading to employment opportunities. The Case Manager will be responsible for managing a caseload of young people ages 14-24. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the JEC Team to support employment programming. They will manage JEC participants and worksites, monitor and ensure a positive work experience for participants and employers. Ensure that all participants and employers have completed relevant paperwork and data collection.

- High School Diploma or HiSet, Bachelor's degree preferred: related experience considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn software and databases used by WCAC.
- Familiarity with Worcester and knowledge of community resources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Must become familiar with and able to cite potential violations of OSHA worksite rules and Child Labor laws.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be comfortable addressing/facilitating large groups.
- Positive, friendly, and resourceful demeanor required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages, a plus.
- Ability to successfully complete a CORI/SORI review.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. This position requires travel throughout the community to different worksites.
- Evening hours may be required.
