As a Lounge Server at Marquee Nashville, you are a vital part of the guest experience—bringing the energy, elegance, and precision that defines our elevated supper club. From the moment a guest is seated until the end of their dining experience, you will be responsible for ensuring they feel welcome, well cared for, and completely satisfied. Your role is essential to delivering the elevated standard of service that sets The Marquee apart.

With at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment, you know how to navigate a high-energy environment while keeping hospitality and professionalism at the forefront. Dependability, attention to detail, and a polished presence are musts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Greet guests promptly and warmly upon seating

● Present menus and provide in-depth knowledge of menu items, including chef features,

wine pairings, and signature cocktails

● Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system in a timely

manner

● Ensure all orders are delivered correctly and efficiently, and follow up regularly to

maintain exceptional service

● Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns

● Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout the shift

● Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth guest service and

table flow

● Thank guests sincerely as they leave and invite them to return

● Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines

● Arrive on time in a neat and clean uniform, maintaining a polished and professional

appearance

● Complete all side work and closing duties as directed

● Perform other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

● Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a high-volume, fast-paced food and

beverage environment

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Working knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and service etiquette

● Ability to multitask and remain calm and courteous under pressure

● Excellent memory and attention to detail

● Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle cash and card transactions

● Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service procedures

● Positive, upbeat personality and strong team ethic

● Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
