What We’re Looking For:
A dynamic and experienced Construction Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales efforts. This role requires a leader with an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry, the ability to build long-lasting client relationships, and a proven ability to generate revenue and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team success.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to target new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of bids, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Develop and track sales performance metrics to achieve both team and company sales goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to grow brand awareness and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction sales, project management, or a similar role (5 years preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, estimating, and project management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- A network of contacts within the construction industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field a plus.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Proficient in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and contracts.
Leadership & Communication:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead teams efficiently
Compensation:
Base pay plus commission
