Mowing Foreman

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mowing Foreman to lead a crew in maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial properties. In this role, you will oversee daily lawn care and landscaping activities, including mowing, trimming, and basic landscaping services, while ensuring your crew works efficiently and delivers high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a crew of 1-2 team members to ensure that all landscape tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Lawn Care: Perform and direct mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing to maintain lawns and surrounding areas.
• Client Relations: Communicate directly with clients when needed, ensuring satisfaction with the services provided. Address any client concerns or requests promptly.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, ensuring all tasks meet company standards and client expectations.
• Training & Development: Train new team members on proper equipment usage, landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all lawn care and landscaping equipment is maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines, ensuring the team follows safety protocols, uses personal protective equipment (PPE), and adheres to all local regulations.
• Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues that arise during daily operations, making quick decisions to keep projects on track.
• Job Site Organization: Manage and delegate tasks, ensuring the team remains productive and organized throughout the workday.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks as required.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record- need to be able to operate and have experience with truck and trailer operations.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
