Wool & Co. is a fast-paced, growing purveyor of premium yarns, needles & notions for hand knitting. We are looking to fill a position with our warehouse team based in South Elgin, IL. Heated warehouse with a clean working environment.
Job Description for Warehouse Associate
- Restock inventory shelves from overstock
- Organize & put away large quantites of inventory
- Unload pallet deliveries using pallet jack from shipping containers
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently to move inventory fro overstock to racking
- Performing cycle counts & stocking inventory using RFI scanner
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping, breaking down boxes, maintaining neat shelves
- Assist Warehouse Manager on additional day to day responsibilities such as relocating inventory, assembling steel racking, relabeling shelves & bins, creating overstock totes
Skill Set for Warehouse Associate
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Experience using a pallet jack
- Forktruck certification preferred
- Ability to climb ladders while carrying boxes/totes
- Can lift up to 50lbs.
- Will be on feet for entire shift
- Dependable with high level of accountability
- Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers and warehouse leadership
- Ability to adapt to change
- Willingness to accept other tasks as needs arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
