Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Bellevue is looking for experienced candidates to join our pack! The ideal candidate will have great compassion for animals, knowledge of and experience performing a variety of breed standard cuts, and the ability to communicate well with pet parents and other team members. This position is open to individuals seeking full-time or part-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' coats according to breed standards or owner preferences.
- Provide nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other grooming services as needed.
- Assess pets' coat and skin condition, identifying any abnormalities or health issues and communicating them to pet owners.
- Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the grooming area, including equipment sterilization and disinfection.
- Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend grooming products to promote pet health and well-being.
- Keep accurate records of grooming services provided, including pet information, grooming procedures, and any special instructions from pet owners.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year of grooming experience in a professional setting required (portfolio or demo may be requested)
- Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming standards
- Excellent handling skills and ability to work with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift dogs up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

- Monday - Saturday (9:00am to 6:00pm)
- Sunday (10:00am to 6:00pm)
